THE EFFECT OF MOTHER TONGUE AS MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION

 We communicate everyday through the used of unique identities of languages. We understand each other because of our distinct way or style of communication. Of all countries all-over the world, we communicate as one through the used of the universal language which is the English language. But each countries do have there own languages and dialects being used. Because we consider to used the English language in our school and business agendas, we often set aside our own mother tongue or dialect. There should always be an equality among the languages and dialects that we are learning and using through.

 But as we have noticed nowadays, there are still a lots of people who don't know how to speak in English rather they speak in their own mother tongue. A lots of people who are not able to finished their schooling because of poverty and lack of money. Whenever we talk on people especially in ordinary people, there is really a possibility that when we talk with them using English, they will answer us back using their own native dialect or what we called as mother tongue. They will not even understand what we are saying and get confused.

 Even though we learned English language almost all of our school life, we still can't perfectly communicate through it because first and foremost, our own dialect is more used than it. We are surrounded by people everyday who used their own dialect and that is the effect of it.

   As we engage ourselves in a world where  high technologies are in and gadgets are being used everywhere, we must also know the implications it will bring to us as a learner and to our teachers.

  People nowadays uses high-tech materials and gadgets already. As time goes by, we are already attached to this things without even knowing what its advantage and disadvantage in our lives. We used to think that if you have these gadgets, you belong to the society. 

 Way back before gadgets are being discovered and where introduced to us, students on those times used to search their assignments,projects and study through the used of the books and other printed materials in a Library. But nowadays, a big change had happened because in just a type and click through the used of computers, cellphones, tablet and etc. we can already search our school tasks in just as easy as seconds or a minute. 

 Children those times used to play outside their homes using street games after their classes at school, unlike now that we could hardly seen them playing on the street rather we can see them inside their homes playing video games, computer games and etc. which brings them no good at all. 

 Technology really improved our way of living and life style, and it also made us sluggish compared before that we really put an effort through having those needed things. Even though technology brought us disadvantage, it do also gives us a big impact especially as a tool in our educational learning. As future teachers or educators, luckily we are already surrounded with a lots of technologies that we could use for our teaching. It will be one of the ways to ease our burden and make our time more convenient, sufficient and not just a waste of time.  

 Dealing with technologies may be a waste of money if it will not be use in a purposeful manner, but if we use it through teaching our lessons to our students, then it would be great and we could really teach them equally and effectively. We should never underestimate the magic of technology would bring to us. We should always open ourselves in allowing each of us to learn various technologies that we all know that could be very helpful to us especially in our profession.
